Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani said on Friday that the epic and enthusiastic participation of Iranian nation at the polling stations deters aliens' interference.
Larijani made the remarks after casting his votes for the fifth round of Assembly of Experts and the 10th parliament election on Friday morning.
Speaking to reporters, he highlighted the importance of these round of elections and said the mass presence of the enthusiastic people will make the Islamic system stronger.
Iran's election has a very clear message for the western states and that is the Iranian people are determined to defend the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership, he said.
The other message is that the Iranian people never let the interference of the aliens and attain their goals through polling stations freely, he said.
It is about 37 years that the Iranian people have voiced their views to the world public opinion and this will happen once again during this round of elections, he said.
The Iranian people regard the interference of aliens in the country as a negative point running counter to the country's values, he said.
'I am quite confident that the Iranian people enthusiastically partake in these elections and give a clear message to the enemies of Islamic system and revolution,' said the Judiciary chief.
Iranians went to the polls in over 1,063 constituencies for the fifth round of the Assembly of Experts and the 10th parliamentary elections.
Polling started in Iran at 8 am local time (04:30 GMT) in over 52,000 polling stations nationwide.
Some 54,915, 024 Iranians are eligible to participate in the event.
Casting ballots will continue till 18:00 local time and will be extended, if deemed necessary.
Some three million of 18-year old Iranians are among those who cast votes for the first time ever.
